Documentary history of the murder of socialite Barbara Jean Finch in West Covina, then an agricultural suburb of Los Angeles, and the sensational Finch-Tregoff trials that ended with the conviction of R. Bernard Finch, M.D., the victim's wealthy husband, and his lover. Includes observations by investigators who worked on the case and members of the community, a review of the print media reports and court documents, and the account of Marie Anne Lidholm, the Swedish governess who testified against Dr. Finch. Original black cloth binding, with red titles. Some minor fading and wear along the extremities of the dust jacket; otherwise very good.
