Pp. 864, frontispiece portrait; cr. 8vo; green cloth, lettered and decorated in black, boards a trifle bowed, slightly soiled and flecked, edges light rubbed and fore-corners faintly bruised, short split at foot of lower joint, the spine lightly faded; top edges originally black (now quite faded); a few leaves partly unopened, inked inscription and bookseller's sticker on upper free endpaper, the lower pastedown slightly bubbled near hinge, a little light foxing and occasional soiling; Herbert Jenkins, London, 1935.
