Synopsis

Mr. Vertigo is a novel written by Paul Auster and first published in 1994. It tells the story of a young orphaned boy from St. Louis, Walter Claireborne Rawley, who happens upon a mysterious traveller known only as Master Yehudi. Master Yehudi trains Walter to levitate and they begin travelling across the United States performing this feat at circus sideshows.
