Illustrated monograph on the life and work of British painter George Stubbs, whose work concentrated on horses and hunting scenes. Light brown cloth, oblong format, illustrated dustjacket. Light rubbing to corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and has some edge tears and chips, a few creases, fairly little paper loss.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Fair. Oblong 4to.
