About This Item
The First UK printing published by Constable in 1953. The BOOK is in near FINE condition and is free from inscriptions, erasures and markings. Some tanning to the text block and page edges due to the cheap quality of paper stock used. The WRAPPER is complete and is in Very Good+ condition. There is edge wear to the spine ends and edges with loss in places. The spine colouring has faded. Two closed tears to the upper front cover edge and one to the front cover lower edge. The wrapper looks very attractive in the removable Brodart archival cover. The scarce third title in the 'Gorse' trilogy.
