Hutchinson of London, 1957. Hardcover. Good. 1957. First Edition. 254 pages. No dust jacket. Black cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Maps across endpapers. Black and white photographs. Pages bright with some tanning and foxing, particularly to textblock edges and endpapers. Some cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding slightly loose. Minor pencil annotations to endpapers. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners, crushing to spine ends and rubbing and heavy staining all over. Spine heavily sunned. Gilt lettering is dulled.
