About This Item
St. Joseph, Mo, 1923. Very good.. Small broadside program. Minor wear and soiling. Scarce program for the services on Mother's Day in 1923 at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church in St. Joseph, Missouri. The morning program includes music and prayer with Missionary testimony. The evening service, though shorter, likewise offered music and prayer, as well as an address on "Women's Day" delivered by Mrs. Myrtle Martin. The service was conducted entirely by women. Mrs. Mary Endicott, widow of an important Civil Rights spear, gave the morning scripture reading.
