About This Item
[Glendale, CA.]: [Roy A. Squires], 1971. First Printing. Although not credited, this was the 16th booklet printed by Roy A. Squires, by hand from handset types, handsewn with silk thread. Colophon states 180 numbered copies, this is copy 48.. Handsomely printed with decorated initials. The private press of Roy A. Squires introduced fine printing to the fantasy & SF field. A diminuitive dip where the silk-tie, slightly pinched the paper. The author's widow, Carolyn, was still alive, although had remarried and taken the name Wakefield, and the copyright is in that name. Fine.
