First edition. Octavo. Original tan cloth spine over boards. No dust jacket. Good (spine faded; corners edges with wear). 319 pages.
Author, columnist Sidney Skolsky's copy signed and dated Oct. 18, 1928 on front free endpaper and with Skolsky' owl bookplate. Skolsky's article appears on pages 152-157.
Skolsky (1905-1983) met Marilyn Monroe in the early 1950's and was responsible for promoting her career. In 1954 he wrote the first book on Monroe.
