New York, NY: Doubleday & McClure Co., S.S. McClure Co., 1898. Hardcover . Used Good/No Jacket. First edition, first printing. Original green cloth, stamped in gold and yellow. Cover has edgewear and rubbing, bumped corners, no fraying. Yellow and gold decorations are worn, but still visible. Spine has a slight slant, but binding is tight. Previous owner's bookplate on front endpaper. Brentano's Booksellers & Stationer, 31, Union Square, New York sticker on rear endpaper. Endpapers are lightly tanned, with some light smudges and foxing. Pages are generally clean and bright, with only a few finger smudges. We carry new and used books in our storefront.
