Pittsburgh, PA: Luke Loomis, 1836. Second Edition. Hard Cover. Good binding. One of 178 volumes penned by this prolific 19th century cleric, who edited journals, wrote books for the American Sunday-school Union and held several pastorates [Appleton's Cyclopaedia of American Biography, Vol. IV, p. 502 (1888). First printed in 1830, in an edition with a folding map, this later printing of The Monthly Concert is without map as issued. Boards have some stains, as well as some minor rippling to the cloth. Previous owner name and name-stamp on the front endpaper. A sturdy copy. (AI 39283; Appleton's Cyclopaedia of Biography). Good binding.
