Washington, D.C.: Government Printing Office, 1899. Hardcover. Good. v-xvii; 893, i-x pp. Very thick quarto [30 cm] Green cloth covered boards with a gilt stamped title on the spine, and blind stamped designs on the covers. New endsheets. Ex-library, with several of the usual markings. The extremities are rubbed. The text block is cracked multiple times, and several of the gatherings are a little loose. There are a couple of jagged thin tears in the inside margin of p. 57. The longest tear measuring just over 1 inch long. Plates 17 and 18 are a bit adhered along the bottom edges. Small closed tear in the fore edge margin of plate LII. Plate XLII bound in twice, upside down, instead of plate LIV. This item may require extra shipping charges due to weight. MISSING one plate- plate LIV.
