London: Longman & Co, 1866 Book. Fair. Original Cloth. xxxi, 639p + 32p publisher's ads at rear. With a folding plate, other illustrations in text, the frontis seems to be part of the pagination. In original blue cloth, gilt lettered to spine; rather worn, especially the spine. Ink owner's name and address + pencil notes to the front free end paper. Front free end paper and frontis are detached with old tape stain down the inner margin of the ffep. A couple of pages of the booklist at the rear are detached and have old tape stains down the inner margins. Rear free end paper also detached..
