Kilham (1868-1948) with bookplate and signature and dated 1889 as he was the Class of 1889 MIT and 10th recipient of Rotch Traveling Scholarship Award. Rebound in hand-dyed J. Hewit acid free calf with blind-stamped perspective top board, gilt print spine, Dodin French Shell pattern marbled end papers. 8vo. pp. vii, 321. Near Fine/No jacket, as issued. Overall page toning and several internal stains from removed foxed inserts. 474 numbered text explanations of plates. Scarce text volume to accompany plates NOT INCLUDED.
