Blue boards with black and red titling on decorated white label on front, black titling on small label on spine, brown end papers, illustrated with twelve handsome tipped-in sepia plates with captioned tissue-guards. Corners, edges and spine ends worn, edges and spine lightly sunned, a few damp spots on front board, spine cover is present but detached, cover has light shelf wear, interior of book is clean, binding slightly shaky.
