Cassell, 1929. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1929. New and Revised Edition. 325 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth. Contains black and white plates throughout. Plate facing page 258 and pages 258, and page 271 are detached but still present. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Scuffing to front pastedown. Brown marks to title page. Thumb-marking present. Visible creasing to gutter. Cracking to gutters, with exposed netting. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Visible tanning to spine and edges. Water staining to all. White marks to front and rear boards. Textblock is shaky.
