New York: Holt, Rinehart and Winston. Very Good- in Very Good- dust jacket. 1971. Seventh Printing. Hardcover. 207 p. 21.5 cm. Sound and square, reinforced library binding in cloth-covered boards. Both spine ends have had a little rodent predation. Tiny soil spot on the front edge of the text block. Inside pages are clean and unmarked, with just a hint of toning. Dust jacket has some chew damage to spine ends and in a small area on the spine. Spine slightly faded and has two pull marks. One tiny closed edge tear. A little remains of a sticker on the front panel. Lightly rubbed overall. Originally published in 1956 by John C. Winston, this is the 7th printing and tells the story of Jim Stanley and his adventures on the first flight to the moon. Jacket art by Alex Schomburg. .
