First printing (stated) with requisite number line ending in "1". Unclipped ($15.95) jacket shows shelf wear with small chips to upper spine and edge of back jacket flap. Signed by author on front flyleaf. Author is a founder of Physicians for Social Responsibility and former faculty at Harvard Medical School. She is also the founder of Women's Action for Nuclear Disarmament. The imminent dangers of the arms race are as true today as in 1983 when the book was written. 6.5x9.5. 365pg.
