New York: Appleton and 2nd By Grossett Dunlap, 1920. 1st copy has its dustjacket in VG or better has light rubbing,a few small tears,light soiling,but is now protected in mylar,book is NEAR FINE or better with minor bumping to spine end and small amount of glue discoloration in gutters of the book. 2nd copy is 1921 on title page and copyright page by Appleton with (1) on the last page MAKING THIS A TRUE FIRST EDITION,green cloth gold lettering with the title being "Miss Lulu Bett, An American Comedy of Manners" this I believe was the issue to celebrate Miss Zona Gale winning the Pulitzer Prize. book has minor wear at te etreme edges and one small rear front edge,still a nice copy.. Unknown. Hard Cover. Very Good and Near Fine/Very Good+.

Synopsis

Miss Lulu Bett is a 1920 novel by American writer Zona Gale, and later adapted for the stage. Gale received the 1921 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for her work. It was a bestseller at the time of its initial publication, but gradually fell out of favor with changing tastes and social conditions.
