Hardback: beige cloth, decorated in blind on front with oval b/w paste-on (detail of one of the plates), b/w lettering and decoration on spine, spine lightly rubbed, slight wear on spine tips and corners, inscripton on flyleaf inked out, a few internal spots, one page has a short tear and some creasing, a few page corners slightly creased, else vg. 8vo, 316pp + 4pp catalogue. 6 b/w plates + many text ills by HAROLD COPPING. Circa 1920 according to list of titles - first publ 1898.
