Miscellaneous Works: 12mo, second editions, pp. xxxiii, 4, 267; 321; 328, contemporary brown calf with red labels to spines, five raised bands, stamped decorations to front and back panels, edges tinted red (faded and discolored). Includes an Addison bio by Thomas Tickell, plus various poems, Rosamond, Cato, The Haunted House, The Whig-Examiner, Ancient Medals with illustration, The Present State of War and other writings. ESTC T89164, NCBEL V. 2, 1099. Remarks on Italy: 12mo, fifth edition, pp. 304, 8 (index), contemporary brown calf with red labels to spines, five raised bands, stamped decorations to front and back panels, edges tinted red (faded). Hits the Grand Tour high spots plus parts of Switzerland and Austria. ESTC T84077. Condition of these books: Joints starting but overall good and sound; edgeworn, very little foxing, some browning to preliminary leaves. Size: 12mo. 4-volume set (complete). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
