Each edition contains a "Watchword" and hymn for the year, a list of officers, the Constitution, By-Laws, Proceedings / schedule of events, President's Address, Report of Corresponding Secretary-Treasurer, Missions information and reports, Report of Young People's Secretary, a Report of the Executive Board, a Report of the West Central Division, East Central, North East, South West, South East, North Central, and North West Divisions, a Report of Woman's Missionary Union Training School, Margaret Fund Report, Personal Service Report, Mission Study Report, Stewardship Report, White Cross Report, Report of Publicity, Report from the Georgia Baptist Orphans' Home, Report of the Georgia Baptist Hospital, Report of Committee on Resolutions, Report of Time and Place Committee, Report of Messages Committee, In Memoriam, W.M.U. Associational Standard of Excellence, Roster of Enrollment of Officers, Board Members, Missionaries, Official Visitors, Enrollment by Divisions, Places of Meetings, Divisions of B.W.M.U., Associational Superintendents, data tables of remittances and disbursements, figures gathered by Superintendent's reports, and other items. All are indexed, respectively. All issues are in overall "very good" condition, showing some wear and discoloration to paper covers, yet are in remarkably good condition for their age. Booklets themselves are free from marginalia or significant creasing.<br><br>1) 1922 ISSUE: Blue cover. Contains Minutes from the Woman's Missionary Union, meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. Held with Second Baptist Church, November 21-23, 1922. The year's "Watchword" was "God is able." - II Cor. 9-8. The President was Mrs. W. J. Neel of Cartersville, Georgia. Bears discoloration around cover edges and a red 1.5" smudge on the front cover. Some wormholes on the bottom back cover, but has not crossed into the textblock. Pages have lightly and evenly toned. This copy is free from marginalia or creasing. Indexed. 96 pp.<br><br>2) 1930 ISSUE: Green cover. Contains Minutes from the Woman's Missionary Union, meeting in Forsyth, Georgia, held with Bessie Tift College, June 10-11-12, 1930. The year's "Watchword" was "Be ye steadfast." 1 Cor. 15:58. The President was Mrs. W. J. Neel of Cartersville, Georgia. Bears slight discoloration around paper cover edges and two, small black stains near the spine. Contains foldout data pages. Contains letter from Corresponding Secretary-Treasurer, Mrs. A. F. McMahon with notations from an attendee at the top, laid in. Leaves have lightly, evenly toned and show occasional wormhole blemish or page chip. Indexed. 90 pp.<br><br>3) 1932 ISSUE: Orange cover. Contains Minutes from the Woman's Missionary Union, meeting again in Forsyth, Georgia, held with Bessie Tift College, March 8-9-10, 1932. The year's "Watchword" was "He shall reign." Luke 1:33. The President was Mrs. Ben S. Thompson of Madison, Georgia. In very nice condition with only several faint discoloration marks on the cover. Contains fold-out data pages. Small, 6.25" x 3.5" brochure entitled "The What, When, Why, Who, Where and How of the Margaret Fund", laid in. Leaves have lightly, evenly toned. Indexed. 92 pp.<br><br>4) 1937 ISSUE: Light blue cover. Contains Minutes from the Woman's Missionary Union, meeting in Rome, Georgia, held in The City Auditorium, March 16-17-18, 1930. The year's "Watchword" was "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts." Zech. 4:6. The President was Mrs. Frank Burney of Waynesboro, Georgia. Bears discoloration around paper cover edges. Contains fold out data pages. Contains letter from Corresponding Secretary-Treasurer, Mrs. A. F. McMahon with notations from an attendee at the top, laid in. Leaves have lightly, evenly toned and bear a small dent in fore edge toward the top. Indexed. 69 pp. Fascinating copies filled with historical, important information from this influential Women's Union.<br><br>Additional photographs available upon request.
