United Kingdom: J. Nicholson. Fair. 1855. Hardcover. An externally worn 1855 hardcover in somewhat soiled/marked blind stamped black cloth-covered boards heavily rubbed with some loss of the cloth particularly to the bottom board edges/corners, the backstrip is bumped/rubbed to the ends with some damage to the heel and loss to the head and missing from the back gutter, internally very good with both hinges tight and secure, front and back endpapers heavily shadowed, no writing or stamps, unmarked pages occasionally very slightly foxed and soiled to the text-block edges. An unlovely but very useful copy of the original. Scarce. Carefully packaged and posted within 48 hours from our wee bookshop in Scotland. .
