About This Item
This book is listed as new for the following reasons: It was ordered at the time of publication. It has been safely stored in the unopened box it was shipped in, until the time of this listing. It was removed from the box along with the original tissue and bubble wrap for the purposes of photography (Please see photos). The larger volume was remove from the slipcase one time in order to determine its order in the sequence (# 146) of 250 published, and signed by the authors. The miniature volume was left untouched. The two volumes and the slipcase are fine in all their aspects. The shipping service will be upgraded to "Expidited" within the U.S.A. at no extra cost to the purchaser.
This is the deluxe edition consisting one full size volume ( 9.75 x 1 x 10.75 inches) along with its facsimile in miniature contained within a slipcase of complimentary design. A beautiful, comprehensive history of miniature books from antiquity to present day. Lavishly illustrated. This deluxe edition won first place in the Gift Book category at the New York Book Show in March 2008.
