Roland White". Willis Carl Jackson (1923-1981) took a solo journey across the Atlantic to Europe in 1978 and published a book of his journey "The Log of the Carla Mia". He was lost at sea in 1981 during his attempt to cross from Europe to America. At the time of his death, he was Dean of Libraries at Indiana University. Near Fine, light soiling top edge. Printed on Union Watermarked Paper by the Athens Press, Iowa City, Iowa. . SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY AUTHOR. First Edition. Cloth. Near Fine/No Jacket, As Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
