William Morrow, 1990. First Edition, Fifth Printing. Cloth. Near Fine+/Fine. A lovely First Edition (so stated) Fifth Printing with number line 5 6 7 8 9 10. Inscribed by Barbara Bush on the half-title page ("To: Gene Crismon -/with every good wish./Happy reading!/Barbara Bush and [pawprint]/May 12 1998"). Also includes a special unattached bookplate for "Millie's Book" also signed by Barbara Bush, enclosed in a White House envelope addressed to "Gene Crismon." The book is in fine unread condition but for the lightest touches of shelf wear on the edges. The dustjacket is complete and in fine condition, protected by an archival plastic dustjacket. A lovely copy.
