All edges sprinkled brown, owner's bookplates on both front paste-downs (a little offset to the free endpaper), a few light spots of foxing on the first few leaves, otherwise a very good clean set. ***Ferguson 1141a. The final chapter is 'Nights in the Guard-House no VI: The Bushrangers' (pp 293-347 of the second volume), an account of convict life in Van Diemen's Land by a mutineer of the Nore, including attempts to capture Michael Howe and other bushrangers. .
