About This Item
A large three-colour pictorial poster, mounted on MDF board, now displayed behind glass in a removable metal frame (external dimensions 865 × 620 mm). A few very light creases to the left-hand edge (prior to mounting); in near-fine condition. The poster is inscribed and signed with a silver felt-tipped pen by Miles Davis and six members of the band: Miles Davis (trumpet, keyboards); Kenny Garrett (alto saxophone, flute); Adam Holzman (keyboards); Joe 'Foley' McCreary (piccolo bass); Benny Rietveld (bass guitar); Ricky Wellman (drums); and Marilyn Mazur (percussion). The only band member not to have signed the poster is Robert Irving III (keyboards). Provenance: the personal collection of David Lovatt, proprietor of Bank Street Records, Adelaide (1985-1994). The poster comes with a colour photograph (100 × 157 mm) of David Lovatt with Miles Davis at Adelaide Airport in 1988, which is when and where the autographs were obtained. [2 items].
