Tight and attractive first edition of this heavily pictorial collection of "Hundreds of Old Engravings," to cite the title page, mainly chronicling 19th century life in the Midwest. Circular ownership inkstamp on front pastedown of noted Lincoln impersonator Robert Sharp, with his ownership signature on the front flyleaf.
