Spine browned and has wear to ends and slightly to one edge. Wear and slight bumping to corners of boards. Tanning and slight foxing to endpapers. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown endpaper. Gift inscriptions in ink and pencil to front free endpaper. A few light marks to text and plates but overall a very clean example. Complete with all 40 tipped-in colour plates with captioned tissue guards. Numerous other illustrations within the text. Overall condition is Very Good Minus.
