This is a Very Good (Plus) copy of the First American Edition (it was published in the same year in England by Jonathan Cape). Green cloth binding; titling on paper labels on the spine and front cover. Clean text; xii, 137 pages with red topstain. Introduction by Edward Garnett. Small bookseller label on the front free endpaper. Textblock is Fine, very bright and fresh. Light fade around the margins; small chip to spine label; two tiny dings to bottom of the front cover. Lacking the dustjacket; in an archival plastic protector.. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good (Plus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
