About This Item

NEAR FINE! Prophecy comes alive in Micah! And Mays' commentary captures Israel's place in prophetic history in this like-new, though read, 169-page Old Testament commentary.1st Edition. The dust jacket's remarks state: "this much-needed commentary provides an authoritative guide to a better understanding of the often-neglected book of Micah…. I am convinced," says Dr. Mays, that Micah "is not just a collection of prophetic sayings but is the outcome of a history of prophetic proclamations and is itself in its final form prophecy" from God Himself. "Though only seven chapters long, Micah is remarkable in its range and significance. It states almost all the important Old Testament theological themes." One reviewer writes: 'Mays comments are concise, to the point, and spot-on' and while 'there are many good commentaries on Micah, this one--though slightly dated, is recommended.' This classic and rare document is a must for the Bible student desiring a study on this Minor Prophetic book.

Near fine. All pages are crisp and intact with only 15 pages with light markings. Though read, it opens as unread! NO highlighting! NOT ex-Library. There is NO name but there is a nameplate inside on FEP. The spine is excellent, the binding is tight and the hinges strong, with no creases. Perfect bright yellow boards with bold lettering on the spine with a design on the front; no stains, or corner bumps. DJ is like new & professionally covered with library-grade Mylar for protection & preservation. The pictures depict the actual book you will receive. (The shine/reflection in the photo is due to the Mylar covering.) Generally, ships on the same business day! Ships with Tracking Number! Countries other than the USA will require an additional shipping cost.
