Good. 1965 (from OCLC) first edition thus, Automobile Quarterly (NY), oblong 10 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches tall stapled paperbound, copiously illustrated with mostly full-color photographs, [32] pp. Mild to moderate rubbing and edgewear to covers, with slight creasing to the spine. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce offprint with outstanding color images. OCLC (No. 71202849) locates only one copy at institutions worldwide, at the Benson Ford Research Center in Dearborn, part of The Henry Ford Museum/National Landmark. ~SSS~ A limited issue offprint by Automobile Quarterly of articles in the magazine's Volume IV, No. 2 - History of the MG, by F. Wilson McComb, color photography by Tom Burnside and Norman Willock; and MG Record Cars, by Beverly Rae Kimes. Automobile Quarterly was a hardbound, advertising-free periodical which focused on cars. The publication was well known for quality writing and photography about automobiles, personalities and related subjects. The magazine started in 1962 with the sub-title 'The Connoisseur's Magazine of Motoring Today, Yesterday, and Tomorrow,' or, in the words of the founder, 'a cross between The New Yorker and Encyclopaedia Britannica in the world of auto mania.
