Spine area and top 1/2" of rear cover quite sunned, otherwise Near Fine condition. Inscribed "For Barkley with best regards, Van. Please read pp. 132--136, 160-163, 174-181, 278-294" on half-title page. This book was in the library of Quine's colleague J. Barkley Rosser, a mathematical logician, and has his name stamped on half-title page and top page edge. Years ago we purchased Rosser's library collection from his widow.; 6 x 9 ''; Signed by Author.
