Classic work in the field of taxidermy. Includes sections on collecting specimens in season, preservatives, poisons and compounds used, instrumensta nd materials, workshops and with specific sections dealing with birds, small mammals, larger mammals, fish, reptiles and crustaceans. A tight example, all silver stamping still bright but with some spotting at the lower areas of the front cover and spine as well as some staining along the top front cover edge and right corner.
