It states that St. Helena has been allotted as the future residence of Napoleon Bonaparte and that the provision in article III of the convention permitting ships and vessels to stop over at St. Helena cannot be allowed so long as Napoleon resides there. Addressed to the Senate and House of Representatives. House document (United States. Congress. House); 14th Congress, 1st session, no. 5.
Shaw & Shoemaker 36323. Removed from a nonce volume. Small hole inone corner of one leaf, not touching text. Title-page with the rubber-stamp of the War Department Library. A few light spots.
