First printing, a trade paperback original. The first book of poetry by this Native American (Laguna Pueblo)-Lebanese-American writer to be published by Taurean Horn Press in an edition of 750 copies. Born in New Mexico, Sanchez spent many years in the San Francisco Bay area, where she ran the open mic poetry readings at the Coffee Gallery in North Beach in the late 1960s to mid-1970s. In 1973, she co-created the Bay Area Poets Coalition. 4 photographic plates inserted in center of book. 90 pp.
