The text is illustrated with 4 black-and-white full page illustrations by Albert Morrow. Illustrated front cover, showing two young people in a shed and an older man sitting down, and are so small illustration of the young girl on the spine. Black-and-white writing on the front panel and red and blue on the spine. The book is quite heavily rubbed and marked. Rubbing and bumping to the book corners and to the head and to the heel of the spine the paper of the board has become a little detached to the top left-hand corner of the spine. The white of the back cover has become yellow. Browning to the paper edges. Browning to the endpapers and to the internal pages as well. A children's book from the early part of the 20th century.
