New York: R.R Bowker Company, 1942. Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. Signed by Movie Star. 4th Edition. Fourth Edition revised and enlarged by Jacob Blanck. Bound in dark red buckram, 553 pages. Spine is faded to brown but all the gilt lettering is bright and complete. Book is tight and square with no marks. On the front pastedown is Jean Hersholt's signed bookplate. Jean Hersholt, 1886-1956, was a famous Danish-American actor. He acted in 140 movies and translated over 160 of Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tales into English. Book is protected in a custom cut clear mylar cover. All books are carefully wrapped and shipped in a box..
