New Carlisle, Ohio: Bethel Publishing Company, 1922. 285 pp. Octavo. Original blue cloth with gilt title on front board and spine. Light wear on corners. Frontispiece portrait. Internally clean with only a few minor pencil notations. A rare account of the capture and incarceration of the husband and wife missionary pair and four female companions by the Turks at the siege of Hadjin. Their harrowing account is well documented by the author. The copy is a family copy with the name Mr. D.C. Eby on the front endpaper. This and several other copies of the book were obtained from the Eby family in Western Canada. 1922
