Blue grained paper over boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine and front board. 172 pp 8vo. This is the Christian story of Mark Renton and Helen Van Buren. Mark was a paymaster for a Canadian railroad construction company and was placed among evil and worldly in a non-Christian environment. Mark retains his faith and leads others to Christ and finds his love along the way. A clean presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.

Presumed first ed.; 172 p., clean and unmarked except for name of former owner on front paste down with date; deckle edges; paper strong and only mildly age-toned; binding strong; unfaded green boards with still bright gilt lettering are well protected by pictorial d.j. but have some bumping of corners; d.j. clean but with small open tears at corners and chipping at crown and foot of spine panel. Further wear prevented by Brodart cover.
