Boston:Ticknor and Fields, 1856. hard cover. Good/No jacket. Boston:Ticknor and Fields. 1856. (Author's edition). v+351pp., Hardcover. Blind-stamped brown boards with title in gilt (dulled) on spine soiled, rubbed and shelfworn with wear along edges, spine ends frayed/chipped and edge points worn to boards. Internally yellow end-pages slightly age toned, with a previous owners name penciled to 1st free end-page and a few bookseller notes penciled to inside rear board, otherwise pages slighlty age-toned but clean. The binding is tight and hinges intact.
