A very scarce pamphlet on the persecution of Baptists in Germany and Denmark, an interesting pamphlet on the struggles of religion. A very scarce work.With an engraved title page.A charming memorial given at the Baptist Church at New Court, discussing the persecution of Baptists in Germany and Denmark, particularly in Hamburg and Copenhagen.Written anonymously, pencil note to the advertisement notes that the work is by John Fenwick. In the original paper wraps. Externally, the wraps are discoloured with some light marks. Prior owner's ink inscription to the head of the front wrap. A little wear to the backstrip. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very lightly age-toned and clean with a few light handling marks. A couple of pencil and ink notes to the text. Very Good
