Printed in red and black. vii, 168 p. w/ b&w illus. from the original edition, endnotes, index. An attractive modern reprinting of this Dutch voyage to the East Indies, the only one made by this captain. The work details shipwreck, attacks by natives, and various adventures in service. The original manuscript was edited into a better work by the orginal printer, Jan Deutel of Hoorn.
