London: Hurst and Blackett, [c.1880s].. Wine cloth, ruled and lettered in gilt. Slate coated end papers. Frontispiece by Birket Foster. Publisher's ads at rear. This is a 1-volume reprint; the first edition was published in 3 volumes in 1852. Inner front hinge cracked, front free end paper detached, spine slightly faded, but quite a bright and clean copy otherwise. Issued as a volume in Hurst & Blackett's Standard Library.
