Frederick Warne, London . New York, No date. Edition Unstated. Hardcover (illustrated Cloth). Very Good Condition. Illustrator: Portrait and illustrations. There is no publication date, however there is a pencil note at the top of the title page 1887 given as the year of publication. Spine section is darkened with age, and there is some grumbling and tearing of the cloth at the top left of the spine and rubbing of the cloth at the bottom of the spine, all edges Gilded. Decorated endpapers, with offset tanning, previous owner's details on the verso of the frontispiece portrait, as can be seen in the attached image the tissue guard and title page are quite foxed. Otherwise there is no foxing throughout the main part of the book. Grey cloth with illustration on the front panel, the illustration is partly obscured by surface rubbing Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
