A copiously illustrated biography of the British eccentric and rake of the Regency period, John Mytton, in the publishers' original cloth binding. Mytton was widely renowned for his love of hunting foxes in any kind of weather, and was even known to strip and hunt, even through snow drifts and rivers in full spate. This text details Mytton's love of hunting, shooting, driving, and racing, whilst also detailing his eccentric and extravagant exploits that earned him the title 'Mad Jack'. Rawlins.Including with eighteen engraved plates in colour. Collated and complete.Including a previous owner's ink signature to the front pastedown. In the publisher's original cloth binding.
