This is a facsimile reprint of the Second (Enlarged) edition Memoirs of the Life of the Late John Mytton, published in 1937.The memoirs within this volume originally appeared in The New Sporting Magazine. The volume considers the Pedigree of Mr. Mytton and his character illustrated by anecdotes, with notices of his hunting, shooting, driving, racing and eccentric and extravagant exploits. John Mytton, or Mad Jack, was a British eccentric of the Regency period. With numerous illustrations by H. Alken and T. J. Rawlings. With nineteen colour plates and a frontispiece. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original green cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and some marks to the spine. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Very Good Indeed
