Quarto (7-7/8" x 12") bound in cream-toned buckram printed in crimson with an allover flower-and-leaf pattern and a paper spine label; 560 pages. Translated by Arthur Machen; selected and annotated by J. Rives Childs. Copy #887 of 1500 copies illustrated by Rene Ben Sussan with 16 full-page color plates and 16 in-line text drawings. SIGNED by the artist on the colophon page. The previous eight-volume edition done by the club was not illustrated.
