New York: The Macmillan Company, 1951-1952. Hardcover. Octavo, Three Volumes. In Fair plus condition with Fair dust jackets. Spines are blue, green, or red with white print. Dust jackets have edgewear with small tears at spine ends and flap corners, short tears to most edges, long tear to front hinge of volume one, toning to spine, mild soiling, shelf wear. Boards in blue cloth with gold print. Wear to spine caps and corners, light soiling/shelf wear. Text blocks have spotting to edges, name in ink on front endpapers, tanning and peripheral toning to endpapers, light foxing to pages adjacent to plates. Illustrated with frontispiece (portrait) in each volume and b&w plates.

CONTENTS: Vol. 1. Years of Adventure, 1874-1920 (Fifth printing, 1951; Price unclipped: "$4.00"; xi, 496 pages) - Vol. 2. The Cabinet and the Presidency, 1920-1933 (First printing, 1952; Price clipped; xii, 405 pages) - Vol. 3. The Great Depression, 1929-1941 (First printing, 1952; Price unclipped: "$5.00"; xv, 503 pages).
